FlipRev is a desktop app designed specifically for resellers.
Instead of trying to make a generic accounting package or spreadsheet fit the job, FlipRev brings the everyday parts of running a reselling business together in one place.
That includes tracking:
- Inventory and purchase costs
- Sales and profit
- Return on investment
- Expenses
- Business mileage
- Refunds and returned stock
- Tax-year figures
- Business performance and analytics
The aim is simple: spend less time maintaining spreadsheets and more time finding and selling stock.
From a side project to something much bigger
FlipRev started as a solution to a real problem.
As a reselling operation grows, keeping accurate records becomes increasingly important, but the tools used to manage those records don't always grow with it.
What began as an idea for a better way to track stock has gradually turned into a much larger application, with inventory management, sales tracking, reporting, analytics, tax tools and optional cloud functionality now forming part of FlipRev.
And we're still building.
Beta is coming
FlipRev isn't being rushed out of the door.
Before a wider release, it'll be put into the hands of a small group of real resellers who can use it with their own stock, their own sales and their own workflows.
Their feedback will help shape what gets improved, changed and added next.
There will inevitably be things we haven't thought of, and that's exactly why the Beta matters.
More than just FlipRev
We're also building fliprev.app into a useful resource for the wider reselling community.
Alongside updates about FlipRev itself, we'll be publishing practical reseller guides, tools and resources covering the things that matter when buying and selling for profit.
The first of those tools are already beginning to appear.
