Is Vinted Down? Users Report Login and App Problems — 8 September 2026

Is Vinted down today? Users are reporting login problems, unexpected logouts and issues accessing Vinted on 8 September 2026. Here’s what we know.

Update – 17:40, 8 September 2026

Vinted appears to be back online following today's widespread outage. However, some users are still reporting slow loading and performance issues across both the Vinted app and website.

If you're still experiencing problems, it may be worth waiting a little longer while services fully recover.

Is Vinted down today?

If Vinted has suddenly logged you out or you're struggling to access the app, you're not alone.

Vinted users are reporting problems accessing the platform today, 8 September 2026, with reports including unexpected logouts, failed login attempts and problems loading parts of the app.

The problems appear to be affecting multiple users, so if Vinted has suddenly stopped working for you, it may be a wider service issue rather than a problem with your individual account.

What problems are Vinted users reporting?

Reports from users today include:

  • Being unexpectedly logged out of Vinted
  • Being unable to log back into their account
  • Pages or parts of the app failing to load
  • Blank or unavailable screens
  • Sellers having difficulty accessing parts of the platform needed to manage sales or shipping

Some users have understandably worried that suddenly being logged out means their Vinted account has been suspended or banned.

However, with multiple users reporting similar problems at the same time, an outage or technical problem is a more likely explanation for today's widespread issues.

Have I been banned from Vinted?

Being unexpectedly logged out doesn't necessarily mean your account has been banned.

If the problem has appeared suddenly while other Vinted users are also reporting login and app issues, it may simply be related to the current disruption.

Avoid making unnecessary changes to your account while the service is experiencing problems. Repeated password resets, creating replacement accounts or changing account details are unlikely to help if the underlying problem is with Vinted itself.

If Vinted specifically tells you that your account has been blocked or suspended, that's a different situation.

We've put together a detailed guide explaining what to do if you've been banned from Vinted and how to appeal a suspension, including the steps you can take if you believe Vinted has made a mistake.

What should I do if Vinted isn't working?

For now, the best approach is relatively simple:

  1. Don't panic if you've been unexpectedly logged out.
  2. Avoid repeatedly resetting your password if your credentials were working normally before the outage.
  3. Try Vinted again later rather than repeatedly attempting to log in.
  4. Keep an eye on any outstanding sales, postage deadlines or messages once access returns.
  5. Be cautious of unofficial messages claiming they can restore your Vinted account or asking you to provide login or payment details.

If you've sold an item and can't currently access the shipping information, make a note of it and check again once the service is available. A platform outage is outside a seller's control.

When will Vinted be working again?

At the time of writing, users are still reporting problems and we don't have a confirmed restoration time.

Technical outages can change quickly, so we'll update this article if more information becomes available.

If you're a reseller who relies heavily on Vinted, incidents like this are also a useful reminder of the benefit of keeping your own records of stock, sales, costs and profit rather than relying entirely on a marketplace account for your business records.

FlipRev is reseller software designed to help UK sellers manage their inventory, sales, expenses, mileage, profit and tax records across marketplaces including Vinted and eBay.
